an identity revisited

The organization’s brand identity needed a refresh—one that captured the personality of the city while providing the flexibility to communicate across a variety of channels. Our team developed a playful and dynamic logo that highlighted the diverse offerings of Perrysburg. We customized several letters to reference local attractions, including restaurants, shops, bars and outdoor spaces. We used Poppins and Inter typefaces to keep the design clean and emphasize the iconography. Those icons carried over into the website to help users filter content.

After our team finalized the visual identity, we redesigned the website. VisitPerrysburg.com provides details about upcoming events, plus information on where to eat, stay and play. The bold, eye-catching home page promotes tourism, highlights local businesses and entices people to explore the area. Our design works well on mobile devices to make it easy for travelers to find the information they want while driving into town.

capturing the spirit of a small town

Over several months, d2i conducted multiple photo and video shoots throughout Perrysburg to create high-quality visual content for the website and marketing materials. We captured candid moments around town, highlighting local restaurants, shops and historical landmarks, and documented key community events such as the Perrysburg Farmers Market and the Home for the Holidays Festival. These visuals add depth and personality to the brand, helping to tell Perrysburg’s story in an authentic and engaging way. We also produced professional head shots of the staff and board members to provide a uniform representation of their team.

extending the brand beyond city limits

Visit Perrysburg participates in local and regional travel conferences, so we created branded items for their booth, including pop-up banners, brochures and tablecloths. We also helped produce their spreads in “Ohio Has It” magazine and “Progress Magazine.”

creating community recognition

As part of the re-brand, we’ve helped promote the town’s signature events, such as the Farmers Market, Perrysburg Hearts the Arts and the Home for the Holidays Festival. We also created elements to promote new events, such as the inaugural Boots in the ‘Burg country concert. And by developing social media templates, display ad designs, fliers, maps, email campaigns, sponsorship packets and tri-fold brochures, we made it easy for Visit Perrysburg to maintain brand consistency across different marketing channels.
